Copyright & DMCA policy

What Framepin hosts

Movie and TV metadata, posters, and backdrops come from The Movie Database (TMDB) under its API terms. “Then” reference frames and “now” photos in comparison pairs are user-submitted content — Framepin does not scrape, curate, or host film screenshots itself. If a comparison contains material you believe infringes your copyright, use the process below.

Filing a takedown notice

Send a notice to our designated agent that includes: (1) a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized representative; (2) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed; (3) identification of the material you want removed and its location on Framepin (a URL is best); (4) your contact information; (5) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; and (6) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

Counter-notification

If content you submitted was removed and you believe this was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice to the same address including your contact details, identification of the removed material, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed in error.

Repeat infringer policy

Accounts that are the subject of multiple valid takedown notices will have their upload privileges suspended and, for repeated or severe violations, permanently terminated.
